Construction has begun on SouthTown Wake Park inRock Hill, SC.

The 25-acre fullsized cable wakeboard complex has a facebook page but little else is know about the project.

Wake parks like South Town and the BSR Cable Park in Waco, Texas tap into a growth in the market for extreme sports combined with lifestyle leisure facilities. BSR Cable Park also includes superslides, the world's longestlazy river with tubes that fit beer coolers, accommodation and a two acre surf lake is under construction.
