WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer, was recently named a Canada’s Best Managed Companies Platinum Club member and received two awards at the MENALAC Awards 2026.
The Platinum distinction celebrates WhiteWater’s eighth straight year in Canada’s Best Managed Companies programme, marking a significant milestone that ranks the firm among those with at least seven years of holding the title.
Sponsored by Deloitte, the programme honours outstanding achievement in strategy, innovation, culture, governance, and financial results.
“I humbly, but proudly, reflect how far we’ve come on our journey—within our global industry, we are recognised as a leader,” says CEO Geoff Chutter. “And now to be recognized among the elite of best-managed Canadian companies shows we are a team performing at the highest level.”
CMO Una de Boer, who accepted the award at the gala in Toronto last week, adds: “Achieving the Platinum Club membership is an important milestone for WhiteWater.
“It shows the strength of our strategy, the dedication of our people, and our continued focus on innovation, governance, and long-term partnerships. It also reinforces the confidence that clients, partners, and employees place in WhiteWater as a trusted global business.”
Award-winning projects
This recognition coincides with renewed momentum in the Middle East and North Africa, where WhiteWater was named Best Manufacturer at the MENALAC Awards 2026. The company’s portfolio includes water parks, water rides, Endless Surf, FlowRider, and Vantage Technology.

This award highlights WhiteWater’s successful delivery of high-profile projects in 2025, such as attractions at Six Flags Qiddiya, Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark, Aqualantis at Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort, Marriott Dead Sea, and the major expansion of Yas Waterworld.

The Yas Waterworld expansion also received the Best New Product/Attraction/Installation award for Water Parks & Water Resorts. This highlights the project's scale, which enhances WhiteWater’s profile in the region and demonstrates ongoing investment in premier water park experiences throughout MENA.
WhiteWater’s second MENALAC award was presented to AquaAdrenaline, recognised as the Most Unique Concept Attraction. This adventure course, set over a pool, offers a new form of entertainment by blending confidence-boosting agility challenges with aquatic enjoyment.

This summer, AquaAdrenaline will transition from concept to reality with its debut at PortAventura’s Caribe Aquatic Park in Spain. This offers the industry its first chance to see how the format functions in a live guest setting.
The launch also fits into WhiteWater’s broader plan for over 60 projects to open worldwide by the end of 2026. These achievements showcase WhiteWater’s ability to combine business management with product and project leadership, enhancing its reputation as a trusted partner and a pioneer in location-based entertainment globally.
