Therme Horizon, Therme Group's joint venture with CVC Capital Partners, has announced Merlin Entertainments executive Christian Woller as its new CEO.
Woller has joined the company at a time of rapid development as it accelerates its expansion across Europe and advances its vision for large-scale wellbeing resorts worldwide.
He will lead the Therme Horizon portfolio through its next phase of growth, strengthening its market position and expanding its vision for wellbeing infrastructure.

With more than two decades of experience in the attractions industry, Woller has helped develop some of the world's most recognised entertainment destinations.
During his career at Merlin Entertainments, he held several senior leadership roles, including vice president of Legoland Billund Resort.
Most recently, he served as managing director of Merlin's European and APAC theme park resorts and indoor attractions portfolio, overseeing commercial and operational performance across Europe, Asia, and Australia.
"Christian brings a wealth of experience leading commercial and operational excellence of large-scale global attraction and hospitality destinations that will be instrumental to Therme Group," said Robert Hanea, founder and CEO of Therme Group.

"His expertise will help realise Therme Horizon's strategic agenda and reinforce Therme Group’s position as a leading operator of thermal wellbeing destinations."
The appointment comes at a time of growth for Therme Group, which is developing new wellness resort destinations in Manchester, Frankfurt, Canada, the US, Singapore, South Korea and Dubai.
In his new role, Woller will oversee the company's operational and in-development destinations, including Therme Bucharest, Therme Erding, Therme Sinsheim, Therme Euskirchen and Badeparadies Schwarzwald.
"I am thrilled to be joining Therme Horizon, which plays a key role in Therme Group scaling globally," said Woller.
"With my entertainment destination background, I was drawn to the mission of accessible wellbeing at immersive, large-scale locations. I look forward to driving sustainable growth for this platform."
