ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, is celebrating the global debut of PowerRAPIDS, a new category of water ride, at Aquatopia Water Park in Vietnam.
Developed to deliver continuous thrills, dynamic motion, and shared adventure, PowerRAPIDS moves away from the typical water ride formula to offer a first-of-its-kind experience.
Exhilarating river experience
For many years, water rides have consisted of slides that run from start to finish, offering speed and turns that have become a staple at attractions worldwide.
By harnessing the power of water, PowerRAPIDS is the first water ride to integrate floating channels at multiple sections. These feature dynamic, shallow water that takes guests on a rushing-river adventure before transitioning back to sliding.
This river motion is designed to create sustained acceleration, shifting currents, and turbulent water interactions throughout the experience.

PowerRAPIDS offers dynamic ride moments that visitors can experience together, with a minimum height of 1 metre (40 inches). Its thrilling sensations encourage repeat rides and sustained visitor engagement.
Depending on the ride specification, PowerRAPIDS offers dispatches every 10 to 20 seconds, with a maximum theoretical hourly ride capacity of 1,440.
The launch of the world's first PowerRAPIDS marks the ongoing global evolution of water parks, with operators seeking attractions that have cross-generational appeal, provide memorable visitor experiences, and deliver strong operational performance.
Recently, ProSlide supplied the full attraction lineup for the new Comfenalco Santander water park, Parque Acuático Los Trinitarios in Colombia.
