MSC World Asia unveils attractions as countdown to first sailing begins

Cruise ship to offer the longest dry slide at sea and an over-water swing ride

MSC World Asia, the third ship in MSC Cruises' World Class series, will set sail on 4 December.

MSC Cruises has unveiled six attractions on MSC World Asia as the six-month countdown to the cruise ship's first sailing begins.

MSC World Asia will be officially named on 28 November in Le Havre, France before starting its seven-night Mediterranean itineraries from 4 December.


The third ship in the cruise line's World Class series will feature the longest dry slide at sea, more than 40 bars and restaurants, seven pools, 13 hot tubs, and several immersive entertainment venues.

Highlights on the new cruise ship include:

The Cliffhanger, MSC Cruises' over-water swing ride towering at 164 feet above the open sea.

The Spiral @ Tree of Life, the longest dry slide at sea at 266 feet offering a thrilling ride spanning 11 decks.

The Twin Racer & U Drop waterslides.

The Adventure Trail high ropes course, a two-level, 6,210-square-foot course suspended above the ocean and featuring Sky Rails similar to a zip line.

The MSC Formula Racer, an immersive racing simulation experience that allows guests to virtually drive a high-speed Formula 1 car.

MSC Luna Park Arena, set to become one of MSC Cruises' most innovative and interactive entertainment venues to date, providing dynamic gaming experiences and themed parties.

Racing simulators in a sleek, modern room with vibrant lighting and floor-to-ceiling windows on MSC World Asia. The MSC Formula Racer, an immersive racing simulation experience on the MSC World Asia cruise ship.

Earlier this year, MSC Cruises unveiled plans for Sandy Cay, a new luxury private island destination set to open in the Bahamas in 2028.
