Crealy Theme Park & Resort in Devon, UK has announced the addition of Sooty Land, a new area of the park dedicated to Sooty, Sweep and Soo that launches on May 28, 2022.
Inspired by The Sooty Show, the world’s longest running children’s TV programme, Sooty Land will feature four new rides – Sooty’s’ Magic Bus, Sweep’s Flying Circus, Soo’s Sweet Balloon Ride and Izzy Wizzy Lets Get Dizzy.
“This really is such an exciting new chapter for Sooty,” said Richard Cadell, presenter and owner of The Sooty Show.
“As I live close to Exeter myself, I’ve always admired all that they do at Crealy, so to be opening up Sooty Land in partnership with the team there is a real honour.”
There will also be live daily performances of The Sooty Show in the new Sooty Show Time outdoor theatre, while F&B at the new land includes Sooty’s Diner, Sweep’s Hot Dogs and Soo’s Tea Room.

“Live daily theatre performances, Sweep selling hot dogs, amazing rides and Sooty’s very own magic shop; there’s going to be so much fun to be had for families and fans of Sooty across the country visiting Devon in 2022,” Cadell added.
Additional offerings include the Sooty’s Hall of Fame Exhibition, featuring memorabilia and props from The Sooty Show, and Sooty’s Magic & Souvenir Shop.
Crealy is also opening 10 new indoor attractions as part of the land. These include a mirror maze, electronic climbing wall and games room, as well as Soo’s Music House and Sooty’s TV Studio.
