Powersoft, the Italian amplifier specialist, has announced the latest version of ArmoníaPlus, which will provide system designers and integrators with more granular control of the firm’s Dynamic Music Distribution solution.
By using Dynamic Music Distribution, system integrators have the ability to scale inputs and zones efficiently by utilising dynamic routing capabilities embedded on amplifier platforms. Music can be routed dynamically with ease, along with other signal sources, across different zones and multiple amplifiers. This can be achieved independently of source location and without the requirment for a centralised DSP.
Sub-zone control
Version 2.3 is a major update that will provide integrators with tools to efficiently select groups of loudspeakers within zones and produce sub-zones with their own controls. Whilst audio sources are standard for all, each sub-zone’s audio can be separately adjusted through any Powersoft control interface, including WM Touch and Sys Control App.
The latest ArmoníaPlus update is also applicable to WM Touch, providing usability improvements and the ability to independently assign mute and level controls to zones.
Integrators, for instance, will be able to configure WM Touch to regulate the level of a zone, whilst not permitting users to mute sounds.
Users can now also turn the entire DMD system on and off remotely, using GPI.

The product update is available to download from the Powersoft website. The Sys Control App is suitable for both iOS and Android devices.
Powersoft last year launched new M-Force 301P02 and reference designs, benefitting a wide base of AV professionals and amateur speaker builders.
