Legoland Windsor has launched the first-ever Lego playset based on a Legoland IP to celebrate the first birthday of Lego Mythica: World of Mythical Creatures.
Based on Legoland Windsor’s latest themed land, the Lego Mythica playset will be available exclusively at Legoland theme parks and Discovery Centre attractions from 1 June.
The playset includes Maximus the sky lion, Bobs the baby alicorn, a Venus flytrap, two Minifigure children, and the portal and entrance to Lego Mythica.
“We’re so excited to see the truly epic world of Lego Mythica brought to life in its own Lego playset,” said Marianne McGoldrick, Legoland Windsor’s marketing director.

“Now, our guests will be able to visit the resort to see our magnificent mythical creatures, take flight on our flying theatre ride and continue building the Mythica fun in their own home.”
Lego Mythica boasts the UK’s first flying theatre ride, ‘Flight of the Sky Lion’. Attractions include the ‘Fire and Ice Freefall’ drop tower ride and ‘Hydra’s Challenge’ water ride.
The land’s latest addition is an immersive walk-through attraction called ‘The Magical Forest’, featuring augmented reality (AR) experiences and games.
“Lego Mythica: World of Mythical Creatures has had the most overwhelming response from our guests, many of whom now praise the land as their most loved part of the Legoland Windsor Resort,” McGoldrick said.
