Disneyland Paris’ Avengers Campus has opened to the public. Europe’s first Marvel-themed universe is also the most ambitious expansion of the resort’s Walt Disney Studios Park.
Home to live-action stunts, heroic encounters, action-packed attractions and themed retail and F&B, Avengers Campus has launched as part of the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.
Guests can sling webs like Spider-Man and fly into space with Iron Man and Captain Marvel on two new rides – Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force.
Visitors can meet the likes of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Black Widow, Thor and Loki. Also on offer is an interactive dance-off with Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Star Lord and Gamora.
Heroic encounters and live-action stunts
New F&B outlets include Pym Kitchen and Stark Factory, while Marvel-themed merchandise is available at Mission Equipment.
Ahead of the launch, Disney CEO Bob Chapek was joined by Disneyland Paris president Natacha Rafalski and Captain Marvel star Brie Larson in an epic ceremony.
“Our Imagineers, Marvel Studios teams, and everyone involved have truly outdone themselves to bring you this action-packed world,” said Chapek.
“I think our guests will be astounded by the detail and creativity at Avengers Campus as they explore and become part of a bigger universe.”
Action-packed attractions
“This is such an amazing year for Disneyland Paris. Back in March, we kicked off our 30th anniversary celebration inviting guests to enter into a new era with us,” added Rafalski.
“As part of this tremendous milestone for our resort, Avengers Campus marks a significant step forward in the ongoing expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park and our overall transformation, with original storytelling and a uniquely engaging experience.”
The land joins Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which opened at Disneyland Paris last year. The hotel showcases a collection of contemporary art inspired by Marvel.
