The Giant Company, an Irish organisation working in concert with cities, embassies, and leaders across the globe, is preparing to make a series of announcements over the next ten days regarding its unique visitor attraction concept, The Giant.
At more than ten storeys tall, The Giant is higher than the Statue of Liberty, with a head and arms than can move into a variety of positions. Its patented skin is a matrix of millions of LED pixels, meaning that the sculpture is able to take the form of any human, from well-known celebrities like Beyoncé or Lionel Messi to celebrated people from history, such as Amelia Earhart of Albert Einstein.
Visitors can also see themselves reflected in The Giant, after a simple scan inside the exhibition space, for the ultimate selfie.
Innovative new attraction
Speaking about The Giant, Amanda Thompson OBE, chairperson of IAAPA, says: “I think it is an absolutely mesmerizing Giant of new technology, Fantastic, Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful thing.”
The Giant Company says that its mission is “to build an environmentally conscious global network of attractions – featuring the world’s tallest moving statues – that reinvents the visitor attraction experience for everyone, entertaining, enlightening and surprising customers through bold flights of imagination and the creative use of new technologies.”
