MediaMation, Inc. (MMI), a leader in immersion entertainment technology, has announced that it will not exhibit at IAAPA Expo 2022 this year, in order to focus on current and upcoming projects.
“We were looking forward to being a part of IAAPA this year, but many of our projects were set to open or start during the months of October and November, and we just needed to divert our resources to our clients to ensure smooth installations. It is with a sad heart that we will have to pull out this year,” says Dan Jamele, president of MediaMation, Inc.
“Since the pandemic, everyone is reopening their theaters and attractions to recoup some of the loss from that time, which is keeping us on our toes.”

The company invites colleagues and clients, both old and new, to visit its website for an update on the latest projects and products, for example, the MX4D Motion Floor. This brings immersive motion technology to free-standing VR, special effects attractions, recliners, and any other attraction requiring motion and haptic immersion.
The MX4D Motion EFX benches can be seen in action at The Loveland Aquarium in Utah, where the tech is in use as part of a fully VR environment. Here, the motion floor also allows guests with disabilities to enjoy the immersive 4Dmovements and VR experience. On booth #1860, The Juice will demonstrate a Motion Floor Immersive video.
This year, MMI provided the centrepiece attraction for the Kennedy Space Center’s new Gateway experience, where four MX4D Flying Theaters bring to life four different aspects of space and technology. This project demonstrates the flexibility and scalability of the firm’s articulating MX4D Motion seats, showing their use in projects that have challenging space and mechanical requirements.
MMI is busy integrating, installing and maintaining over 350 cinema theatres worldwide, in addition to its themed attractions and show control projects such as upcoming Legends in Arizona and more. Future installations include Hero Ventures in Saudi Arabia and a new MX4D Cinema in Dubai for REEL Cinema. When it comes to cinemas, the firm is also working with Inox and B&B Theaters.
Following the peak of the pandemic, MediaMation has vastly expanded its customer base in Europe, working with a range of clients in the theatre sector.
