Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has implemented its Parafait suite of solutions, including self-service kiosks and RFID card readers, at Flipper Cinema and Arcade in Hollywood, Florida. The attraction has recently modernised its offer, transforming from a coin-op game room to a state-of-the-art arcade with the latest gaming technology.
By moving to Parafait, the operator is now able to better manage key processes and offer an improved visitor experience. With the new solution, the team at Flipper Cinema and Arcade can also offer loyalty programmes and upsells with movie purchases, so that guests can take advantage of a seamless and convenient entertainment experience.

Streamlining operations
Visitors can now easily purchase and reload game cards with the self-service kiosks from Semnox, as well as accessing loyalty programmes and buying upsell packages when they buy cinema tickets. The Lumin RFID card readers offer “tap-to-play” functionality so that guests can access gameplay quickly and easily. It also tracks redemption points and gets rid of paper tickets, which makes operations simpler as well.
