SPREE Interactive, a leading provider of active free-roam VR experiences recently exhibited at DEAL Expo in Dubai, where it partnered with Amusement Services International (ASI), an award-winning supplier of amusement arcade attractions and games, to showcase its VR Playground, alongside its latest VR shooter game, Splish Splash. The team sold multiple systems during the trade show.
The goal of the partnership between the two firms is to empower Location-Based Entertainment centres across the Middle East with VR gaming experiences that cater to the under-10’s demographic.
A successful partnership
SPREE’s VR playground will now be rolled out across a number of FECs and other location-based entertainment venues in the MENA region. Attendees at DEAL 2023 also enjoyed the company’s newest VR shooter game, Splish Splash, with its combination of classic arcade nostalgia and cutting-edge VR technology.

Last year, SPREE Interactive received a number of industry awards, including the People’s Choice Award at the MAPIC Awards 2022 and a Bobble Award from VR expert Bob Cooney. The firm beat more than 280 nominees to win “Best in Location-Based Entertainment” at the Augmented World Expo Auggie Awards 2022 and took 2nd Place in the Immersive Attraction category for the blooloop Innovation Awards.
