Attractions.io, a leading creator of mobile visitor apps, has announced it is levelling up its partnership strategy, with the launch of a dedicated partnerships team.
The team aims to grow Attractions.io’s existing integrations network and improve collaboration with industry leaders – and so will support the development of excellent visitor experiences around the world.
The importance of interoperability
Visitor attractions depend on extensive networks of services to manage their activities, such as marketing, ticketing, operations, and customer experience. However, these services frequently work in isolation and result in a fragmented user experience which limits the potential of each technology.
When crucial systems don’t communicate with one another, it’s extremely difficult for operators to gain a full understanding of how visitors experience their attractions and how their tech stack supports their objectives.
For more than a decade, Attractions.io has advocated for interoperability and is committed to connecting these technologies and the data they collect. The firm considers this as critical to the sector’s success as it moves forward in the digital age, and essential for supporting income generation in a difficult climate.
A connected industry
Attractions.io installations for organisations like Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, and Butlin’s demonstrate this philosophy. These innovations cover the whole visitor journey and integrate easily with third-party systems, such as ticketing, ride operations, food and drink, photos, online sales, and hotel check-ins. As a result, Attractions.io is in an excellent position to invest in collaborations that improve innovation and deliver enhanced visitor experiences.
Chris Antoline, an expert in strategic relationship management in the SaaS market, leads the new partnerships team. Antoline has more than 15 years of experience in partnership development, which resonates with Attractions.io’s objective of achieving the full potential of every visit through technology.
Antoline says: “Our vision is a more connected attractions industry. One where vendors
work together to help the industry embrace technology innovation and leverage each other’s strengths. This initiative is built on the belief that we are ‘better together’ and can create unique guest experiences while driving incremental revenue for operators.”
The partnerships team strives to build mutually beneficial collaborations with industry vendors and agencies.
“My core focus is growing revenue through partners and alliances,” Antoline continues. “I
passionately believe that when we work together in a true partnership – all focused on
exceeding customer expectations – we can drive an extraordinary experience for our shared customers.”
Mark Locker, founder and CEO of Attractions.io, says: “We’ve built the attraction industry’s most advanced guest experience platform, and our companion app is the only native solution to span the entire guest journey. But while we’re the experts in mobile technology, we’re not the experts in ticketing, POS or other essential technologies that, when connected, create exceptional guest experiences for guests.”
“We want to partner with other world-class service providers and channel partners to scale our reach and ensure we deliver the best outcomes for the millions of guests that rely on our services every year.”
Chris Wilson, e-commerce manager, spoke on the value of a connected approach at the launch of the Attractions.io and PomVom integration at Alton Towers Resort, UK. Wilson comments: “We view our mobile app as the foundation of our digital guest experience. Collaborating with Attractions.io and our ticketing, POS, photo and ride ops partners to bring everything into the Alton Towers App represents a key step in building the ultimate digital companion for our guests.”
Existing Attractions.io partners agree, emphasising the value of partnership in producing a more coherent, satisfying, and engaging visitor experience.
David Bromilow, director, parks and attractions at Mobaro, says: “I’ve experienced many changes and innovations over my 45 years in the industry. Today, facing rapid technological advancement, it’s clear that the need for collaboration has never been greater. Our partnership with Attractions.io allows operators to turn internal operations and ride data from the Mobaro platform into a useful tool that positively impacts the guest experience, provides operational efficiencies, and is a great example of how interconnected systems outperform isolated ones. Together, we are stronger, smarter, and deliver better client outcomes.”
Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. integrates with Attractions.io to enhance visitor experiences for organisations such as the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and San Diego Zoo.
Michael Andre, president & CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., adds: “At Gateway, we’ve always had faith in technology to revolutionise the guest experience. It’s truly inspiring to witness Attractions.io advancing that same belief. Our partnership with Attractions.io enables our clients to utilise an exceptional mobile application experience effortlessly integrated with our Galaxy ticketing solution. This collaboration is a triumph for all parties involved and exemplifies the potential of industry teamwork to provide outstanding service for our customers.”
Call for collaborators
The firm is now seeking expressions of interest from potential channel partners and technology vendors. For further information, please email Chris.Antoline@attractions.io.
Antoline says: “We’re looking to build relationships that don’t just add value, but multiply it for all parties involved. By intertwining our strengths, we can create a more comprehensive and satisfying guest experience and boost operator revenue.”
Attractions.io recently announced that it has developed a new photo feature for Alton Towers in partnership with Pomvom. The two companies have collaborated to integrate Pomvom’s digital photo solution into the Attractions.io ecosystem, providing more options for viewing, purchasing, and sharing media from visits.
