IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, will be heading to Vienna, Austria, for this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe. The event takes place in the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center from 25 – 28 September with the trade show open from 26 – 28 September, and registration is now open.
Over the course of four days, attractions industry professionals from across the region and beyond can enjoy tailored educational events and EDUSessions, with more than 100 industry leaders sharing their knowledge.
“IAAPA Expo Europe is the must-attend event for professionals in the attractions industry, and we are delighted to bring it to Vienna,” says Peter van der Schans, executive director and vice president for IAAPA Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
“Vienna combines a deep appreciation for history and culture with a forward-thinking mindset, making it an ideal destination for this year’s expo event. We look forward to showcasing the best of the attractions industry, fostering new connections, and delivering exceptional educational opportunities in this remarkable city.”
Educational sessions, events and exhibitors
Meanwhile, during the three-day trade show, there will be over 570 exhibitors to discover on the 17,000+ square metre trade show floor. Here, attendees can see the latest innovations and services covering many different sectors. This year, IAAPA will also introduce a new area. The Innovation Stage on the show floor will be a space for short EDUTalks and agile ways to present new ideas.
Alongside the trade show and conference, there will be plenty of chances to network, reconnect with old friends and make new connections. Attendees will be from a range of sectors, including amusement and theme parks, integrated hotels and resorts, water parks, family entertainment centres, historic/cultural/tourist attractions, museums and science centres, hotel resorts, shopping malls, zoos and aquariums, location-based entertainment venues, cruise lines, and more.
Attendees can also make use of IAAPA Connect+, the official digital platform for IAAPA’s in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.
IAAPA is committed to sustainable operations and is working with contractors and venues that promote sustainability. For IAAPA Expo Europe 2023, the organisation is adhering to the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings
