Immersive Gamebox has opened a new venue in Shoreditch, London, offering interactive digital games in smart rooms known as ‘Gameboxes’.
The immersive entertainment company has 20 locations across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It uses cutting-edge technologies such as projection mapping, touchscreens, 3D motion tracking and surround sound.
The new 3,600-square-metre attraction in Brookfield Properties’ Principal Place in Shoreditch is Immersive Gamebox’s 25th location, and its seventh in the UK.
“Immersive Gamebox is a totally immersive gaming experience, which has always been the perfect place to get together,” said Will Dean, co-founder and CEO of Immersive Gamebox.

The Shoreditch space “will be the perfect destination for a night out and a unique addition to the east London scene, which I know will attract a huge number of guests”, Dean added.
Teams at Immersive Gamebox are put through a series of games and challenges that can only be completed by working together.
Immersive Gamebox offers 13 games, including licensed and original intellectual property (IP). Last month, the company launched a new Paw Patrol-themed experience in the UK and US.
It has also collaborated with streaming giant Netflix on a Squid Game attraction and Rovio Entertainment, a Finnish mobile-first gaming company and the creator of the Angry Birds brand.
Revolutionising retail spaces
“Whether it’s the state-of-the-art technology in our Gameboxes or the format of our venues, we are always re-inventing the way people entertain themselves and I am very excited to give guests an epic time,” said Dean.
Immersive Gamebox has also announced an expanded partnership with Gravity Active Entertainment to open 10 new locations by the end of 2025.
“For years now we have been revolutionizing the retail space, providing people with exciting entertainment options and reviving the high street,” said Michael Harrison, co-founder and chief growth officer at Gravity.
