Themed Entertainment Association announces exclusive events for TEA SATE North America

News
Themed Entertainment Association SATE North America 2023

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, recently opened registration for the Storytelling, Architecture, Technology, and Experience (SATE) conference for North America in Kansas City, Missouri, from 12 – 14 October 2023. Now, it has revealed some exclusive add-on events, designed to give attendees more opportunities to network with their peers.

Tours and events at TEA SATE North America 2023

These events include the Hard Hat Laugh O Gram Studio Tour presented by Thank You Walt Disney, which takes place on Wednesday 11 October at 3 pm CT. This is a free tour of the building where, according to legend, Walt Disney was inspired to create Mickey Mouse. The nonprofit group, Thank You Walt Disney, will showcase the progress it has made in restoring the historic studio.

Attendees can also sign up to watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos NFL Game on Thursday 12 October at 7:15 pm and witness the 2023 Super Bowl champs taking on the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.

TEA SATE NA 2023 agenda

These events can only be reserved once SATE North America tickets have been purchased, and space is limited.

Attendees at TEA SATE North America 2023 can participate in a range of interactive and educational sessions, alongside networking opportunities and social events. This year’s event will explore the theme “Origins and Influencers: The people, places and ideas that shape our industry”. Registration is now open, with an early bird discount available until 29 August 2023.

This event follows the successful TEA SATE Europe 2023 which took place earlier this year at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany.

Last month, the TEA also announced the release of its latest global attractions attendance report. The TEA/AECOM Theme Index and Museum Index provides information on the world’s most-visited theme parkswater parks and museums.
