Trusted AV solutions provider will continue as distribution partner for China

7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, has announced that it has renewed its distribution agreement for China with Wincomm Technology Co., a leading Beijing-based AV solutions provider.

Wincomn, founded in 2006, focuses on complete professional AV solutions for various businesses as well as its own branded products. It offers entire business chain services for creative planning, media production, concept design, technology and product development, engineering implementation, maintenance and support. The firm is a reputable supplier for control rooms and conferences, alongside cultural, entertainment, and simulation projects.

Wincomm has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Wuhan, Xi’an, and Shenyang.

A strong partnership

Some of the world’s most technically complex and visually appealing media-based experiences and attractions rely heavily on 7thSense technology. For instance, 7thSense media servers were used to power the flying dark ride “Three Fights with Baigujing” at Huai’an Xiyou World in China, which debuted in 2021. For Expo 2020 Dubai, the business also supplied 17 Medialon show control systems and 56 media servers. Additionally, 7thSense is a significant technological partner for the much anticipated MSG Sphere in Las Vegas.

Eric Lehman, VP of business development at 7thSense, says:

“As the preferred distributor and integrator of 7thSense across China, Wincomn promises extensive experience in the attractions industry and assists in distributing the range of 7thSense products and technologies to customers across China. Working on theme parks, live shows, museums, science centres, planetariums and more, we have now been involved in hundreds of exceptional projects together since 2017.”

Tony Chen, CEO of Wincomn, adds: “7thSense media servers are widely deployed at dome theatres, flying cinemas, dark rides, projection shows, 4D/5D cinemas, and stage performances. This renewal marks the beginning of a new chapter in the next decade of our journey in the Chinese market.

“Our trust and in-depth cooperation will continue to provide customers with reliable and high-quality professional media playback solutions, making high-quality image presentation even more impressive, as well as safeguarding stable operation and investment returns of the project throughout its lifecycle.”

Lehman continues: “Wincomn has been a hugely significant partner to us, and we are delighted to carry on this fruitful relationship, bringing truly innovative and industry-leading solutions to China’s leading-edge attractions and themed experiences.”

Earlier this year, 7thSense was awarded the UK’s highest honour for businesses: The King’s Award.
