Celebrate Halloween in a Saw-themed bar called The Traproom

London’s Saw escape experience is running a series of after-dark parties throughout October for Halloween before it concludes its run in early November.

The official Saw-themed experience is a narrative-driven escape room from Lionsgate, Twisted Pictures and the Path Entertainment Group. It is open in London through 4 November before moving to other cities across the world.

Until then, guests can immerse themselves in Jigsaw’s twisted world and take on his terrifying traps. As for the after-dark events, these are taking place on 21 October, 28 October and 31 October.

On 21 and 28 October, guests can book a visit for 10pm, 10.20pm and 10.40pm for a 70-minute game of survival before celebrating in the Saw-themed bar called The Traproom until 3am.

On 31 October, guests can book at 8pm, 8.20pm and 8.40pm before enjoying a party after dark until 12.30am.

“Collaborating with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures has been sensational, converting a former nightclub into a thrilling escape room and bar experience,” said David Hutchinson, founder and CEO of the Path Entertainment Group.

“We are working towards transferring this internationally as we continue to build our global brand, opening offices in key territories to support this and our other location-based projects.”

The Saw franchise’s global box office passed $1 billion in 2021. Thorpe Park features a Saw-themed coaster, and Las Vegas is home to another Saw escape room experience.

Las Vegas’ It-themed escape room recently expanded to include an It Chapter Two experience, with rooms inspired by iconic scenes from the 2019 horror film.

Horror-themed location-based entertainment is a growing trend in the attractions business.
