CONDUCTR, a new UK-based innovation studio, has launched its innovative new
Game Volt product division ahead of IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna. This aims to deliver quality, tech-enhanced social gaming products for the entertainment and leisure industry.
“The industry is seeing a surge in social gaming activities” says Peter Cliff, co-founder of
CONDUCTR. “The idea of taking traditional bar games and re-inventing them with new
innovative technology is something well-suited to CONDUCTR’s capabilities and fuels our
company development.
“The aim of our Game Volt division is to produce high quality, straight to market solutions that combine great design, engaging gamification and eye-catching media, which ultimately provides guests and operators with a greater gaming and social experience.”
Supercharged Shuffle
The first product delivered in CONDUCTR’s Game Volt suite is Supercharged Shuffle, a high-tech interactive version of a classic table shuffleboard.
Boasting a range of engaging game modes, social shuffle merges the skill of classic shuffleboard with the thrill of a video game. As you play, the pucks are tracked real-time and displayed on a digital screen, giving a tech-twist to the shuffleboard experience.
Each table is designed with socialising in mind – perfect for large group entertainment. Designed to look good in any entertainment environment from bars to FECs. Key features include tracked automated scoring, live action replays, full AV package, and a range of fun, competitive interactive games modes.
Dave & Busters
CONDUCTR’s first deployment of Supercharged Shuffle was recently installed at Dave & Buster’s, as part of the leading brand’s renovation programme.
Dave & Buster’s has 156 locations across North America; each store features a mix of state-of-the-art gaming, bar and restaurant facilities, live sports and entertainment.
New store fit outs feature innovative ‘social bays’ designed for large group entertainment, perfect for CONDUCTR’s Supercharged Shuffle tables, which brings the hugely popular social gaming trend to the states.
Supercharged Shuffle helps to increase guest dwell time and provides an entertaining social option for group bookings and corporate events.
From concept to install
From initial design, through development and testing, media content, technical development and installation, the Supercharged Shuffle product has been a 100% CONDUCTR team effort. New studio and workshop facilities in Manchester, UK, allow the firm to develop everything under one roof.
“A key element our clients particularly love is being able to visit our facilities and to see and
play with our tech and products before it gets anywhere near the customer,” says Matt Daly, CONDUCTR & Game Volt product owner. “We pride ourselves in our ability to create rapid-prototypes as part of the development process, which really helps our clients get a feel for how the products perform and operate.”
CONDUCTR continues to grow
Founded at the start of 2022, CONDUCTR continues to grow both in size and reputation
within the themed attractions and entertainment sector. As well as developing their Game Volt division, they are involved in a number of major themed attraction developments
across the globe, adding their signature tech-innovation layer and creativity to produce
supercharged tech-driven products and experiences.
“Our vision is to use tech in positive ways to enhance and enrich the guest experience and
bring audiences together. That’s why we created CONDUCTR,” says Cliff. “Our new Game Volt suite feels like a great step in realising this vision, and we’re super excited to continue
our journey.”
Cliff will be attending IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna next week with co-founder Jos van der Steen. For further information contact hello@conductr.co.uk.
CONDUCTR launched Electric Carrom last year. This is a reinvention of a popular South Asian game which is a mix of shuffleboard and snooker. The company has brought the game up-to-date for a contemporary audience using state-of-the-art tracking and immersive technology.
