Walltopia releases new Ropes Course configurations

Walltopia Group Circle Ropes Course

The Circle Ropes Course, Unharnessed Hex, and Family Hex Ropes Course configurations offer exciting new experiences for all the family

Walltopia Group, a world leader in the climbing and adventure & leisure industries, has announced the release of three new Ropes Course configurations, which offer venues a unique experience combined with an eye-catching aesthetic.

Ropes Courses are a way for visitors to reconnect with their bodies, nature, and people, and provide a contrast to digital experiences. In addition to challenging flexibility, balance, and strength in a safe atmosphere, they encourage socialising and family bonding.

The Walltopia Ropes Course is adaptable and integrates into a variety of commercial and operational environments. The new configurations are suitable for a wide range of applications, including entertainment, athletic training, and educational activities.

It also offers benefits in new customer acquisition and retention for many types of venues, whether it’s a public park recreational offer, an FEC experience enhancement, a summer attraction in a winter sports region, or a distinctive feature added to a retail centre.

New integrations

Walltopia has released the Circle Ropes Course configuration (pictured top), with a unique design with a focus on safety and user experience. This course features a brand-new safety system which uses trolleys to make operation simpler, easier and more enjoyable for guests.

The Circle Ropes Course, like the other Ropes Course configurations, will integrate easily with the Zip Rail. This upcoming new release offers a mix of the Zip Line and Rollglider experiences. Guests should expect a smooth and thrilling experience as a result of the combination.

Child-focused design

Family Entertainment Centres’ preferences are moving towards unharnessed activities. They are well suited to a children’s attraction because they do not have mechanical components and do not require harnesses. The unharnessed models are intended for children aged five and over, which makes them an excellent family bonding activity.

The Unharnessed Hex is a stand-alone attraction for children. It offers venues a high number of guests per square foot, in a design which can be either single or multi-level. Because of the modular design, it is easy to expand horizontally and vertically, making it adaptable to a variety of locations. A notable benefit is the freedom of movement which does not require personal protection equipment, as safety nets surround the course. This also means that the attraction requires fewer attendants.

Children can choose from a variety of routes in the multi-directional layout. They then exit the attraction using a slide, which provides an exciting and memorable finish. The course is available in a variety of popular colour combinations, and unique theming options are also available.

Family experiences

The Family Hex Ropes Course has something for everyone, allowing children and adults to rediscover the fun of physical activity together.

Parallel lines of obstacles allow children and adults to take part at the same time. This design encourages interaction and makes it a great option for families in search of a shared experience. It boasts a superior multi-directional layout, with varied climbing routes, and the choice of single or multilevel. The parallel lines offer an easier route for children and a more difficult one for adults.

If a competitive element is required, both lines can be set to the same level of difficulty and further gamification can be added. The Family Hex, like the Unharnessed Hex, has a modular design that allows the attraction to expand horizontally and vertically. The course can be customised to meet various themes and colour schemes, ensuring that it fits in with the surrounding area.

Safety, usability & design

Walltopia offers a variety of add-ons for its attractions, which include enormous swings, viewing platforms, shade canopies, walk-the-plank, and free-fall devices. These additions offer the potential to create increased interest and revenue.

Walltopia is dedicated to innovation and outstanding user experience in adventure attractions. The firm’s latest Ropes Course models for 2023 promise to enhance any adventure venue, with an emphasis on safety, usability, and design.

Walltopia Group recently celebrated the success of Adrenark Adventure, Abu Dhabi, which was named Family Entertainment Center of the Year award by the Park World Excellence Awards.
