Integrated Insight, a leading consulting firm in the attractions industry, has announced that it will present a series of educational sessions at IAAPA Expo 2023.
The major attractions industry event is taking place in Orlando from 13 to 17 November. Integrated Insight will share its insights on labour optimisation, pricing strategy, and merchandising initiatives on Thursday 16 November as part of the Expo’s extensive programme of EDUSessions.
Sharing expertise
Integrated Insight has provided educational sessions for IAAPA members for many years, with webinars and keynote IAAPA presentations on pricing, marketing, operations, and feasibility among its past events.
In 2023, the firm will share best practices in three focused EDUSessions:
Dynamic vs Variable Pricing – The Great Pricing Debate & Why It Matters To Your Consumer (And You)
Scott Sanders, president of Integrated Insight, will present this session on Thursday 16 November, 8.30 am – 9.30 am, in room S310EFGH. Sanders was formerly vice president of pricing for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and will share insights from his extensive experience.
Sanders led all of Disney’s global pricing activities, including theme park and water park admissions, room rates, transportation, merchandise, food and beverage, and a variety of supplementary products and services across the world. His session will address “The Great Pricing Debate” – dynamic versus variable pricing. Sanders will lead delegates through the strategies, the importance of focusing on the customer in pricing decisions, and how to determine which is best for you.
Money in Merchandising: Maximizing Sales from Analytics to Operations
Sanders will be joined by Laura Iles, COO at Integrated Insight for this session, taking place on Thursday 16 November, 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm, in room S330AB.
This session will present guiding principles for revenue optimisation through merchandising. Iles has consulted a diverse range of clients across the globe during her 11 years with Integrated Insight. Together with Sanders, she will provide delegates with insights into how analytics and operational tactics can generate significant merchandising opportunities.
Leveraging Simulation To Power Your Labor Scheduling
Erin Clark, vice president of industrial engineering and simulation, and Jenny Fishpool, vice president of research services, will present Integrated Insight’s third session on Thursday 16 November, 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm, in room S330EFGH.
Clark and Fishpool will discuss labour optimisation with simulation modelling and will consider how artificial intelligence can help businesses make informed operational decisions with lower risks. Their session is ideal for managers, operators, and executives who are concerned about labour costs.
Jessica Dreiling, chief marketing officer at Integrated Insight, comments: “We are thrilled to be part of IAAPA Expo 2023 and share our expertise in pricing, operations, and merchandising programs with industry professionals.
