Inowize, a creative company delivering interactive experiences, exhibited at IAAPA Expo 2023 in Orlando, Florida, last week, where the team showcased the QBIX attraction and revealed new updates to the platform. The firm also announced the latest game title for QBIX, Thieves of Glory.
QBIX was first unveiled at IAAPA Expo 2022, and since then it has evolved into a fully realized, unattended multiplayer attraction. The product just requires a card swipe to unlock an immersive world of five-minute-long games, which feature 5D effects like motion floors and wind blasts, for an engaging experience. The different game titles available for the platform offer interactive group experiences and encourage repeat play.
Thieves of Glory
During a press conference at the trade show, Inowize announced its latest game, Thieves of Glory, created in partnership with Immersive Planet, a leading design company for entertainment concepts like theme parks, amusement parks, FECS and more. It emphasises active gameplay, physical mobility, and greater player interaction by fusing action, puzzle-solving and fun.
Thieves of Glory is designed to create an engaging group experience, active play, and shared laughter. In contrast to conventional shooting games, it promotes teamwork, communication, and eventually victory. The new title is scheduled to be implemented at all existing operator locations in Q1 of 2024. It joins Fright Maze, a scary adventure game, the skill-based Pack-a-Boom, and Astro Ryders, which has been successful with younger audiences.
Earlier this year, Inowize released a new report on the QBIX attraction, showing that it brings average occupancy rates up to 27.2%, with an average of 1961 players a month across its locations. QBIX is increasing repeat visits, as visitors return to the memorable attraction. There were a record-breaking 3764 gamers at one location throughout the month of spring break. With entry fees charged ranging from $5 to $12, venues can benefit from a rapid ROI from QBIX.
