Imagine Exhibitions, a leader in worldwide travelling exhibitions and entertainment, has announced the next iteration in its partnership with renowned Danish artist and sculptor, Thomas Dambo, who will create a new outdoor travelling exhibition set to tour across Europe, North America, and beyond.
The brand-new exhibition, which will debut in Europe, will provide guests of all ages with an unforgettable outdoor experience. Every Troll in the show, called Trolls: A Field Study, will be created especially for this new tour and constructed out of repurposed materials like wooden pallets, fallen branches and twigs, and more.
Combining storytelling, nature and sustainability
Dambo, who is well-known for his breathtaking sculptures and environmentally responsible art installations, contributes his original ideas and inventiveness to this partnership. He is an internationally acclaimed artist with an exceptional portfolio of works that skillfully combine storytelling, nature, and sustainability. His creative adventure has taken him to over 25 nations on five continents, where he has produced artwork using discarded materials, with the ultimate objective of creating a “trail of 1,000 trolls.”

Dates for the debut of Trolls: A Field Study will be announced soon, and the exhibition will then be available for viewing in various locations during the spring of 2025 and beyond.
Thomas Dambo’s first project with Imagine Exhibitions, TROLLS: Save the Humans, made its world premiere at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, drawing an unprecedented number of visitors. The exhibition is currently open at The Philadelphia Zoo.
Imagine Exhibitions recently announced that Titanic: The Exhibition, produced in collaboration with Fever, will open at Westfield Old Orchard, Chicago, in February 2024.
