Attendees can meet the team and try The Park VR System

The Park Playground, a unique VR franchise, has announced that it will be attending the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure Leisure Exhibition 2024 (DEAL), which is set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Monday 4 March to Wednesday 6 March.

The Park Playground appoints Bill Painter
Bill Painter

Bill Painter, the newly appointed head of franchise for Park Playground VR, will be present at the event, along with Thomas Roozen, head of business development, Florence Roosendaal, head of expansion & projects, and Oliver Gils, franchise development manager, and a team of hosts,

The team will be available to meet with potential clients and talk about The Park VR System, the company’s newest VR turnkey solution. The system offers immersive, thirty-minute virtual reality journeys with access to an expanding collection of exclusive content that can be customised to a company’s setup requirements.

Any recreational facility can increase the variety of entertainment it offers by using this solution, which was recently implemented at Centre Parcs Park Hochsauerland in Germany. In as little as two months, entertainment centres can expand their entertainment repertoire and witness a marked improvement in foot traffic and return rates with a quick roll-out time and flexible technology.

Attendees can try free-roam group VR

The Park Playground VR will have a number of its premium free-roam group VR experiences on display at booth #1-A172 for attendees to test out. These experiences are inclusive, sociable, and engaging for all ages and groups. The Park Playground VR’s fully mobile free-roam immersive experiences allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in exciting and interactive virtual worlds on a 7 m x 7 m integrated VR free-roam field.

In Mask of the Pharaoh, players can virtually explore Egypt and aid in the release of a professor who is imprisoned in a pyramid; in Mission Planet X, they can battle hostile aliens in outer space; or they can enter the scare-filled multiplayer VR haunted house escape room, Don’t Scream.

Additionally, guests have the option to experience The Break-in, The Park Playground VR’s newest location-based entertainment (LBE) VR escape room, which employs generative AI to make sure each gameplay is unique. During the encounter, visitors take on the role of a top-tier SWAT unit assigned to break into a bank and seize priceless stolen artwork.

“This will be our first time at the DEAL Expo show, and we’re looking forward to forming new connections and partnerships within the industry as we expand into this region,” says Painter. “It’s an exciting time for our company as we strive towards international expansion. We’ve seen our presence grow across the UK and Europe, and we’re looking to replicate this success into new markets in Western Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).”
