Fawasel, a subsidiary of Dallah Al Baraka group, signed a partnership with Europa-Park during this week’s Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Expo in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The two organisations have established a joint venture focused on boosting the entertainment industry in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The agreement was formalised at the trade show, with Ahmad Hassan Kamel, CEO of Fawasel, and Charles Botta, a member of Europa-Park‘s management board, participating in a signing ceremony attended by officials from the Ministry of Investment and the managing director. Majed Alghanim represented the Minister of Investment, while Mohannad Khalid Alabbad represented the General Entertainment Authority.
There were also representatives from the media, industry experts, and other stakeholders in attendance.
In line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Quality-of-Life Programme, the partnership seeks to improve Saudi Arabia’s entertainment infrastructure by providing professional training programmes to promote skill development, equipment sales to support sector growth and consulting services.
Improving visitor experiences in Saudi Arabia
Ahmad Hassan Kamel praised the partnership with Europa Park and highlighted how it might improve visitor experiences in the Kingdom by providing exceptional entertainment options, raising industry standards, and boosting GDP. He emphasised how well this alliance fits with Fawasel’s strategic objectives of developing international alliances, encouraging cooperation, and developing Saudi talent.
Meanwhile, Charles Botta conveyed his excitement for the collaboration with Fawasel, acknowledging the company’s crucial function in propelling the travel and entertainment industries in Saudi Arabia. He noted the partnership’s importance in providing extraordinary experiences that redefine tourist services and goods and expressed delight in helping the sector evolve with the Europa-Park Academy.

This was done as part of Dallah’s ongoing commitment to be a successful partner in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
