7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, has been honoured at the Society for Information Display’s (SID) 2024 Display Industry Awards where it has won a Display Application of the Year Award.
The firm received the accolade in recognition of its complex management, control, and pixel processing system at Sphere in Las Vegas, US.
Advancing display technology
SID’s annual Display Industry Awards (DIAs) celebrate the best displays, components, and applications on the market. The DIAs are one of the most esteemed awards in the sector and celebrate breakthroughs which push the boundaries of display technology.
The Display Application of the Year award is presented to a unique and remarkable product or application that uses a display and has a major impact on the market.
Stephen Atwood, acting chair of the DIA Committee, comments: “The field of winners for this year’s awards demonstrate how incredibly rich and diverse the display field has become. 7thSense provided the playback, pixel processing, and ST2110 video distribution network for the interior display of the Las Vegas Sphere, an incredible example of audio and visual immersion.”

It’s an honour to be recognised with such a respected industry accolade.”
Earlier this year, 7thSense was recognised with an ISE 2024 Best of Show Award in the Sound & Video Contractor category for its latest R-Series 8 hardware solution.
