Inspire Entertainment Resort opened earlier this year in Incheon

Le Space, billed as the largest immersive art experience in Korea, has opened at Mohegan’s new Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon.

Located in the integrated resort’s Inspire Mall, Le Space was produced by Hyundai Futurenet, an ICT and immersive exhibition company.

Hyundai Futurenet has also produced digital experiences at Arte Museum, which has locations in Jeju, Gangneung, and Yeosu.

The new 6,142-square-metre exhibition at Le Space, titled ‘Beyond the Cosmos’, features digital content themed to space travel across 18 different zones.

Per a press release, Le Space is unlike other digital art experiences as it uses “new media productions such as LED, hologram, kinetic, fog, laser, and interaction to complete the whole story”.

“Inspire’s differentiated digital content is already attracting many visitors to the resort, and we’re thrilled to once again partner with Hyundai Futurenet to showcase our new digital content exhibition, Le Space,” said Michael Jensen, chief marketing officer at Mohegan’s Inspire resort.

“As advanced digital content continues to be a key entertainment component at Inspire, we will continue to strive to make it a place where even more visitors can be inspired and invigorated by immersive experiences.”

Via Korea JoongAng Daily, Le Space plans to put on new exhibitions every two to three years.

Inspire Entertainment Resort opened on 5 March. It is Mohegan’s first integrated resort outside of North America.

It houses a 1,275-room hotel, the Inspire Arena performance venue, an immersive street for digital entertainment called Aurora, the Splash Bay water park, and a casino.

In the future, Inspire plans to open more entertainment facilities, including the Discovery Park – a 100,000-square-metre outdoor experience park.

In more news, wellbeing organisation Therme Group has teamed up SK ecoplant to develop its new resort in Incheon.

The new Therme destination will feature saunas, hot pools and wellness experiences. It will be inspired by Korean traditions and culture.
