Walltopia launches unharnessed indoor playground

Walltopia Group, a world leader in the climbing and adventure and leisure industries, has announced the launch of a new unharnessed indoor playground. This attraction has been designed to prioritise safety and fun.

The company was founded over two decades ago to create and manufacture the most advanced climbing facilities in the world. Walltopia is now the largest manufacturer in the artificial climbing sector, and has also developed the most diverse range of classic and unique active entertainment attractions on the market. These products combine fun and adrenaline for visitors of all ages.

Multiple safety features

The new unharnessed indoor playground features an open space concept which offers parents and caregivers clear sight lines for easy supervision and peace of mind.

The safety of the playground is enhanced further by soft elements for play that have been designed and manufactured in-house to adhere to EN-1176 playground standards, and the whole play area is fitted with safety flooring that absorbs impact and prevents slips and falls. This flooring is vital for creating a safe play environment where children can run, jump, and explore without risking serious injury.

In addition, the structure is built from wood, which offers an attractive aesthetic while enhancing safety through the natural material’s durable and stable qualities.

Last month, Walltopia Group revealed the dummy testing process for its One More Life safety mat in a new video.

The firm’s flooring solutions brand, Climbmat, has developed a unique flooring type called One More Life (OML). This solution has been proven to dramatically reduce the risk of serious harm in the event of a fall from heights between seven metres (23 feet) and 17 metres (56 feet).

Walltopia Group also recently launched its new TREE COURSE, a towering obstacle course with a unique design. It has been created to enhance the guest experience and transform locations such as shopping malls, ski resorts, adventure parks, and others.
