Turkey’s Land of Legends to open new Nickelodeon land and hotel

There will be SpongeBob, Star Trek and Paw Patrol zones

The Land of Legends theme park in Antalya, Turkey has announced it will open the country’s first Nickelodeon land and hotel in January 2025.

Debuting on 15 January 2025, the Nickelodeon Land houses three new areas: ‘Bikini Bottom’ from SpongeBob SquarePants, ‘Star Trek: Wild Galaxy’ from the Star Trek: Prodigy animated TV series, and ‘Adventure Bay’ from Paw Patrol.

In these themed areas, guests will enjoy rides and attractions like the ‘Jellyfish Jam’ swing in Bikini Bottom, a 5D cinema in Star Trek: Wild Galaxy, and the ‘Skye’s Flyers’ helicopter-style ride in Adventure Bay.

Other SpongeBob SquarePants-themed attractions include ‘SpongeBob’s Crazy Carnival Ride’, ‘Plankton’s Plunge’, and ‘the Flying Dutchman’s Ghost Ship’.

Paw Patrol-themed attractions include ‘Rubble & Crew’, ‘Zuma’s Zoomers’, and ‘Marshall’s Fire Patrol’, while Star Trek: Prodigy-themed experiences include immersive spaces based on the series.

At the new Nickelodeon hotel, guests will meet characters including Dora and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The hotel rooms are themed to Dora, Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek.

Experiences in Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya will include character dining, and an outdoor pool area with a spray area and a space to get slimed.

Earlier this year, Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America opened a new ride called Fly with Appa, based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise.

Elsewhere, Florida is getting a new Nickelodeon resort, due to open in the 220-acre Everest Place complex in Kissimmee in 2026.

The Land of Legends, the biggest leisure and entertainment park in Turkey, opened in July 2016. Last year, the park added the new Turtle Coaster.
