Shuffly presents new competitive social gaming concept, Shuffle Showdown

News
Shuffle Showdown

Shuffly, a leading creator of shuffleboards for the leisure and entertainment industry, has announced the launch of Shuffle Showdown. This new game mixes traditional shuffleboard with a dynamic digital experience. Shuffle Showdown combines fun, quality, and a stylish design to create a premium feel.

“Our mission is to modernise this classic game and translate it into a sleek revenue model,” says Micky Verhaeg, co-creator of Shuffle Showdown. “With Shuffle Showdown, we’ve created an innovative experience that preserves the traditional charm of shuffleboard while taking advantage of modern technology under favourable conditions.”

The new competitive socialising

Shuffle Showdown was created based on the idea that Competitive Social Gaming 2.0 will shape the future of leisure and entertainment. This gaming style mixes the excitement of competitive play with the social aspect of group activities, resulting in an engaging experience. It entertains players while promoting teamwork, communication, and friendly competition among friends, family, or colleagues.

Competitive social gaming meets the rising interest in social events and team-building activities that are more than just playing games or enjoying hospitality. It offers a fun way to bond while enjoying food and drinks. Ultimately, it focuses on food and fun.

Shuffle Showdown stands out by combining technology with traditional shuffleboard. Players enter their names on a tablet, then take turns sliding pucks to keep them on the board. The digital screen allows players to see their scores in real-time and adapt their strategies as they play. The tablet also tracks player progress, offers personalised branding, and includes dynamic scoreboards with custom sound effects and visual themes.

Shuffle Showdown is a high-end product that fits well in many different locations, featuring three highly engaging and interactive games. Priced at €24,000, it has a two-year return on investment, assuming eight hours of use each week. This makes it a sound investment. Operators can also boost sales of food and drinks by offering packages.

Shuffle Showdown is a complete concept, with Shuffly taking care of everything from start to finish.

Attendees at the Horecava trade fair, taking place at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam from 13 – 16 January, can meet the team and discover Shuffle Showdown at booth number 01.588 in Hall 1.

Last year, Shuffly opened a new facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, home to the continent’s largest shuffleboard showroom. The opening of the 825-square-metre space, which houses a 200-square-metre showroom and office and a 625-square-metre manufacturing and assembly factory, is a significant step in the company’s growth.
