Gateway Ticketing Systems enhances global presence with Galaxy Connect platform

News
Gateway Ticketing Systems continues to expand reach

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, continues to shape the digital distribution landscape and expand its reach with the award-winning Galaxy Connect platform. With this cloud-based integration, suppliers can sell live, gate-ready tickets through an extensive, international network of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

Galaxy Connect transforms how attractions connect with third-party sellers using the OCTO Core Specification. This offers real-time availability, dynamic pricing, and instant visitor confirmation across the world. In removing the need for voucher reconciliation or manual fulfilment, the platform helps attractions to enhance operational efficiency, expand distribution reach, and provide an elevated visitor experience.

Michael Andre, president and CEO of Gateway Ticketing System, says: “Galaxy Connect represents the evolution of global ticket distribution.

“By eliminating outdated processes and providing a real-time connection to the world’s most influential OTAs, we are enabling our customers to unlock new revenue streams, reach previously untapped audiences, and create seamless guest experiences. Our mission is to enable attractions of all sizes to operate smarter, sell faster, and deliver more value at every point of the guest journey.”

Extensive distributor network

The platform is currently used by 97 suppliers worldwide, including leading museums, zoos, aquariums, and theme parks, which use Galaxy Connect to enable frictionless, real-time ticketing across OTAs, including GetYourGuide, Tiqets, Klook, and others. Suppliers can increase their digital sales footprint and remove inefficiencies by joining this network with a simple integration.

A full list of the 140 distributors currently integrated with Galaxy Connect can be found on the Gateway Ticketing website.

Suppliers can benefit from:

  • Broader distribution. A single integration provides a seamless connection to leading OTAs.
  • Enhanced visitor experience. Suppliers can provide a frictionless, mobile-first purchase and direct-to-gate entry experience.
  • Real-time ticketing. The platform removes the need for voucher-based processes with live inventory and instant visitor confirmation.
  • Sell visit date and/or dynamically priced tickets. Whether a supplier is using a date-based pricing model or one driven by a dynamic pricing technology, Galaxy Connect supports it all.
  • Streamlined operations. The platform eliminates manual reconciliation, redemption delays, and reporting discrepancies.

Galaxy Connect provides a powerful, cutting-edge solution designed to evolve with any business, from small regional attractions seeking to enhance their visibility to global destinations optimising operations at scale.

Gateway’s team includes over 150 employees, including software developers, technical experts, IT specialists, project managers, customer service representatives, and other professionals in the US, UK, and Canada.
