Holovis new offices announcement Southport

Holovis, a leading experience designer, has announced the opening of its latest offices, development, and innovation centre at Southport’s Eastbank Creative and Digital hub, housed in the recently renovated Enterprise Arcade building.

The award-winning immersive technology company will showcase its expertise and distinctive immersive and interactive solutions at the collaborative hub on Eastbank Street, which has just received a £1.5 million makeover.

This move supports Holovis’s ongoing strategic expansion, emphasising its aim to deliver top-tier experiential, immersive, and interactive solutions to the entertainment, enterprise, and meditech sectors in northern England.

Deep ties to the region

Holovis has more than 20 years of ties to the region, having supported early regeneration efforts and local government projects with large-scale AV systems. It is now expanding on those longstanding relationships and regional industry partnerships.

The firm operates across the experiential, enterprise, and medical research sectors, providing immersive AV systems, creative and media services, system integration, and interactive solutions. Its offerings serve public venues, visitor attractions, and experiences that benefit from their top-tier turn-key solutions.

Stuart Hetherington, CEO of Holovis, says: “We’re absolutely delighted to be moving back into the region to support local projects with our unique capabilities and solutions. We look forward to expanding our business in the region alongside our local partnerships while promoting and supporting exciting career opportunities for those looking to join our diverse team of experts and work with us in our exciting industry sectors.

“With so much investment and regeneration taking place, this is the perfect time for us to also invest in the region and make this move. We’re looking forward to collaborating with local businesses and delivering world-class tech-driven experiences and solutions across the region.”

Jon Corner, sector specialist for Sefton Council, who is helping to shape the project, says: “The Holovis move to Southport is a great signal of the emerging ecosystem of talent, capability and opportunity in the region, and reflects the genuine ambition across stakeholders here in Sefton to provide opportunities for young people.

“Holovis are a world-class organisation whose presence here will undoubtedly have positive impact.”

Ecosystem of talent & opportunity

Cllr Marion Atkinson, leader at Sefton Council, adds: “It comes as no surprise that a company of Holovis’ global acclaim has recognised the incredible potential and benefits of working from Sefton.

“We are delighted that Holovis will be setting up a North of England base at the Enterprise Arcade. This is a testament to our ongoing commitment to revitalise and energise the economy of Southport and Sefton, as well as grow our local Creative and Digital sectors.

“Southport and Sefton is being recognised by major industry leaders as having all the right ingredients for growing and building businesses successfully and we continue to work hard to attract more investment into the Borough.”
