Hive, a company specialising in media control systems and software, has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with ULA Group for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The partnership with one of the region’s leading visual technology providers will enable Hive to connect with local integrators and represents a significant step in advancing the company’s international presence.
Mark Calvert, CEO at HIVE, says: “We are excited to welcome ULA Group as our exclusive partner in the ANZ region. This partnership is about more than distribution – it’s about making our technology accessible to integrators through a trusted local expert who understands the needs of the market.”
Bringing innovative media server solutions to ANZ integrators
ULA Group has been providing professional AV and lighting solutions across sectors, such as themed attractions, entertainment venues, retail, and public spaces, for more than three decades.
Its four local offices and showrooms in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland support successful integration and project delivery, through practical technical support, system design consultancy and in-house training.
Paul Rumble, sales director and general manager VIC at ULA Group, says: “ULA Group is proud to partner with HIVE.
“We’ve been impressed by the simplicity, performance and flexibility of their Beeblade range. It’s a smart and scalable solution that addresses many of the challenges our clients face – from managing multiple outputs to reducing power consumption and space requirements. We’re looking forward to introducing the full HIVE portfolio to the region.”
Under this agreement, ULA Group will offer HIVE’s entire range of media servers and enclosures, including the acclaimed Beeblade SDM modules and modular Nucleus and Beehive housings, backed by local stock availability, support and advice.
HIVE’s lightweight and energy-efficient systems have been developed to streamline media delivery and are already used in projects spanning projection mapping, interactive exhibits, digital signage, and themed entertainment.
By integrating media playback directly into displays, or housing it within compact enclosures, HIVE provides a modular alternative to typical media servers. This minimises complicated setup and overheads without compromising performance.
HIVE will officially launch at the ULA Group and VuePix Infiled stands at the Integrate Expo in Sydney, which is taking place from 27 to 29 August. Attendees can enjoy live demos and technical discussions with ULA Group at stand #H30 and VuePix Infiled at stand #J30.
Last month, Hive shared details of its project to power the iconic, 13-metre-wide audiovisual Dragonfly installation at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival, UK. The creature is constructed around a repurposed military helicopter and brought to life with perfectly synchronised projection mapping, LED playback, and lighting.
