Netflix House sets opening dates for Dallas and Philadelphia venues

New experiences are themed to brands like Wednesday, One Piece and KPop Demon Hunters

Streaming giant Netflix has set opening dates for its new Netflix House immersive entertainment venues in Dallas, Texas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The first Netflix House is opening in Philadelphia at the King of Prussia mall on 12 November, and will be followed by the launch of the second Netflix House at the Galleria Dallas mall on 11 December.

Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, Netflix House is a unique and permanent attraction for fans of Netflix shows like WednesdaySquid GameOne Piece, Stranger ThingsKPop Demon HuntersLove Is Blind, and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise.

Netflix House is free to enter and explore, offering a mix of complimentary and paid activities and experiences, which will be refreshed regularly.

Highlights in Philadelphia include gamified mini golf with holes themed to characters and stories from brands including Bridgerton, Stranger Things and WWE.

Also in Philadelphia is the Netflix Virtuals VR experience, which lets fans play as the main character from their favourite shows and films, like Squid Game and Rebel Moon.

Netflix shows as immersive experiences

At Netflix House in Dallas, Netflix RePlay is an interactive take on traditional arcade games featuring shows and films such as Floor Is Lava, Army of the Dead and Big Mouth.

Additional experiences in Philadelphia include One Piece: Quest for the Devil Fruit and Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts.

Dallas offerings include Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials.

Both locations will provide Netflix Bites restaurants, serving food and craft cocktails based on popular Netflix stories and characters, as well as a store selling exclusive merchandise.

“Finally, a place where the Netflix story you can’t get enough of becomes something real that you can play, shop, and taste,” Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, said in a previous release.

“This is fandom coming to life, where you can actually step inside the worlds you’ve been watching and loving for years – whether going on an epic adventure with the Straw Hats, taking a journey into Hawkins, Indiana, or grabbing a cocktail inspired by your latest obsession.”
