Polin Waterparks & Pool Systems, one of the leading companies in the design, manufacturing and installation of water parks, water slides and water play attractions, is delighted to announce that they will be supplying the waterslide and water play areas for the Caribbean Island Water Park in Yantai, China.

The 45, 000 sq m (11 acre) Caribbean Island Water Park is being developed by Xin Guang Investment Co Ltd. 
The waterpark has been designed by Dreampark International, with Polin retained to supply seven water slides and two kids’ water play areas.
Scheduled to open in spring 2013, the waterpark will include a hotel with indoor and outdoor waterparks and there are plans to develop an entertainment centre at a later date.

The outdoor waterpark will have a kids’ play area which includes a water play structure, interactive water features and junior waterslides as well as featuring three Polin waterslides:
- A 98m (321 ft) Family Turbolance – one of Polin’s more extreme waterslides which shoots guests down a steep dive and up a vertical section before reversing and ending in a splash pool.
- A 224m (735 ft) Family Rafting Slide – a flume course for six to eight passenger circular rafts. This is the first and only RTM-manufactured family slide in the industry, giving a shiny finish on both sides of the slide.
- A 235m (771 ft) Polin Uphill Navigatour – a new thrilling water coaster.
The indoor section of the waterpark will feature a smaller version of the outdoor kids play area 
and four Polin waterslides:
- A 180m (590 ft) indoor Uphill Navigator – Polin’s innovative water coaster.
- A 150m (492 ft) Magic Hole- an enclosed waterslide that can accommodate single, double or triple inner tubes, or four seater family boats.
- Two fast Aquatube slides – 33 m (108 ft) and 72 m (236 ft).
