A working group that includes Brooklyn Park seeks a consultant for a feasibility study of a Performing and Fine Arts Education Center.

The working group consists of the City of Brooklyn Park, North Hennepin Community College (NHCC), Metropolitan State University, and Osseo Area Schools, with support by Hennepin County.

The organisations have a shared vision for a Performing and Fine Arts Education Centre in the northeast corner of West Broadway and 85th Avenues. The centre will feature dynamic teaching, creative, learning spaces; equitable access; and inviting and inspiration design.

It is currently expected to contain a multipurpose theater (600-1000), a black box performance space, a small art gallery, flexible teaching spaces for fine and performing arts, traditional teaching spaces for 9-12 and post-secondary education, indoor/outdoor concessions, and a skyway connection from the north side of 85th Avenue to the existing Bioscience and Health Careers Center building.

The working group is seeking proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals with relevant experience who desire to assist decision-makers, staff, and the community to study and evaluate the feasibility of this vision.

Details on proposal requirements can be found here.

Proposals must be submitted no later than January 26 to:
