IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has announced that registration is now open for IAAPA Expo 2020 in Orlando.

IAAPA is pleased to announce that registration is now open for IAAPA Expo 2020 which takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from 16 – 20 November. This is the leading trade show and conference for the attractions industry and will feature educational sessions and networking opportunities alongside a huge trade show floor.

Attendees will be able to find innovative new products, connect with colleagues and friends in the industry and learn from leaders in the field.

Looking to the future

“IAAPA Expo is the global attractions industry’s premier event. Now more than ever, moving forward and looking to the future is critical to our industry, and IAAPA Expo is the right place to do just that,” says Hal McEvoy, president and CEO, IAAPA.

“After months of stress, challenge, and global uncertainty, we look forward to holding a safe event that will help industry professionals strengthen relationships and make important business decisions to lay the foundation for continued success.”

The trade show floor will feature innovations in technology, new rides and experience, food and beverage and games and attractions, alongside technical solutions for guest ticketing and management, health and safety products and more.

Meanwhile, the education programme will offer engaging and informative sessions. There will also be special events such as the Opening Reception, GM and Owners’ Breakfast, Lunch and Learn, IAAPA Celebrates. In addition to this, the annual charity fundraising events to raise money for Give Kids The World Village will also take place during the week.

Health and safety

“The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and team remain our top priority,” says McEvoy. “We are working closely with all of our partners at the Orange County Convention Center, our host hotels, and conference vendors to ensure we present an event that meets all recommended health and safety requirements for our attendees, exhibitors, and team.”

Both IAAPA and the Orange County Convention Center will be adhering to guidance on mass gatherings and the latest health and safety guidelines following the coronavirus pandemic. For instance, they will be implementing physical distancing measures as well as strict sanitisation and cleaning protocols. Hand sanitising stations will also be available throughout the venue.
