Event celebrated 280th anniversary of world-renowned champagne house

Moment Factory, the multimedia entertainment studio specialising in the conception and production of immersive environments, has helped iconic champagne brand Moët & Chandon celebrate its 280th anniversary at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France.

In order to create a fitting ambience for the occasion, event agency Black Lemon tasked Moment Factory with bringing the brand’s “Effervescence” concept to life with projection mapping, digital content, lighting, and sound.

Visuals to match the evening’s energy

Particles of light flowed across arches and cascaded down columns as visitors entered the impressive room. Among those present when president and CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier gave a toast were Roger Federer, Natalie Portman, and Vincent Cassel. Meanwhile, as glasses clinked, botanic elements from Mot’s campaign artwork appeared across the hall.

With ambiences created to set the scene, guests were transported through the evening’s programming, from the food service to the live show. At a performance by Belgian pop artist Angèle, the venue shimmered in pink hues thanks to digital content inspired by Moët’s Rosé Impérial. Then, gold filled the room as disco legend Gloria Gaynor erupted into an explosive performance of “I Will Survive,”

The grand arena was transformed into a nightclub for a DJ Kungs set as the event’s grand finale. Overall, the multimedia programming from Moment Factory contributed to the venue changing as the evening’s energy grew.

Earlier this year, Moment Factory celebrated the opening of two new Astra Lumina night walks. Astra Lumina Gatlinburg is the 15th immersive multimedia experience in the Lumina Enchanted Night Walk Series and the first to land in the United States, while Astra Lumina Los Angeles is the 17th in the series.

The firm also recently partnered with Arc’teryx, a leading outdoor apparel company, to create a series of immersive events. In Vancouver, fans could preview Arc’teryx’s latest range of high-performance outerwear amidst mountainscapes brought to life with seamless multimedia effects, while in New York brand enthusiasts could embark on a summit of Coast Mountains in the middle of the city.
