Six Flags One of “Nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For”

The National Association for Business Resources has named theme park giant Six Flags Entertainment Corporation one of the country’s and Dallas-Fort Worth’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.

Generating $1.3 billion in revenue from 18 parks across the United States, Mexico and Canada, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is the world’s biggest regional theme park company. It has been thrilling visitors with its high octane thrill-rides for the last 56 years.

Six Flags, together with other winners were honoured at an awards ceremony and gala held at the Dallas Arboretum.

Ambitious Growth 

The company has ambitious plans both in the United States and overseas. The 2017 season sees the world debut of the next-gen JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis immersive dark ride. Six Flags Zhejiang, the first Six Flags branded theme park in China, is already under construction and a new waterpark to sit alongside it, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has been announced. Six Flags Dubai is also on the cards, set to open alongside the existing three parks at Dubai Parks and Resorts in 2019.

John Odum, president of the company’s international division recently told Blooloop that Vietnam was in Six Flags’ sights too. “It has a growing middle class with an increasing propensity to spend. It also has a travel market that’s starting to feed Vietnam. We really think the dynamics fit nicely with what we bring to a market.”

Theme Park Giant Six Flags Sets the Bar

John Duffey,  Six Flags President and CEO was pleased with the award. He said, “Our employees are our most valuable asset and the company’s success is directly attributable to their hard work and dedication. We are thrilled and humbled to be included among this esteemed category of best companies to work for.”

An independent research firm had assessed each company. They looked at a number of key metrics including compensation, benefits and employee Solutions,  employee enrichment, engagement and retention
