Airbnb is offering an otherworldly experience at Delia Deetz’s iconic residence from Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024).
The property is located in Hillsborough, New Jersey and is available for three-hour bookings from 16 to 27 November.
The Airbnb listing, hosted by Deetz, reads: “Now that my art is posthumously appreciating in value and recognition – rightfully so, I might add – I hereby invite to my home any artistic soul that wishes to make the pilgrimage.”

It adds: “Although shrouded in black to mourn Charles’ passing, the interior is unparalleled, curated by none other than yours truly, rescued from the pedestrian eye of its previous owners.
“And, in return for your undying support, I will teach you to Create with a capital C in the first-ever art class from beyond the grave.”
Guests in the Beetlejuice house will see the Maitlands’ Winter River model, which remains untouched in the attic. It’s likely they’ll find themselves in the Afterlife, too. To get there, they can follow the glowing green light into the waiting room and join the rest of the recently deceased.
“One magician recently drowned in a water-filled locked box. He might still be there. Blech,” says Deetz in the listing.

After this, guests will enter a disorienting hallway of doors. “Peek through the keyholes, but don’t open any doors unless you want to be eaten by sandworms or wind up in that trickster’s favourite haunt, Dante’s Inferno,” Deetz adds.
Due to some recent “spiritual difficulties”, guests can’t stay in the ghost house overnight – but they will receive a one-night stay at an Airbnb listing in neighbouring Princeton, New Jersey at no additional cost.
The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice experience falls under Airbnb’s new ‘Icons’ category. Its first Icons included the Ferrari Museum and the house from Disney and Pixar’s 2009 film Up.
