Cinergy Entertainment has opened its cinema complex in Tulsa, with bowling, escape rooms, multi-sensory interactive attractions, and XD 4D dark ride.

The luxury cinema chain already has four centres in Texas. Cinergy Tulsa is located in the Village at Woodland Hills Shopping Center.

The $10m project has eight state-of-the-art movie theatres with luxury recliner heated seats, swivel tables and call buttons for service. A premium chef-inspired dining menu and extensive bar menu are available.

Cinergy Tulsa also features 14 lanes of boutique bowling illuminated by massive screens projecting sporting events and music videos.

The attraction boasts five immersive escape rooms, a full-service bar with an LED lit bar top, and an extensive games floor with over 90 interactive games.

Additionally, this location will have multi-sensory interactive attractions such as Hologate VR, and an XD 4D dark ride, which combines a motion experience with 3D graphics, special effects, and an immersive shooting gaming system.

Jeff Benson, President and CEO of Cinergy Entertainment, said: “This location will bring cutting edge technology and luxury amenities to the Tulsa market, all under one roof.”

“We’ve got the best movie experience; we’ve got the best gaming experience. We’ve got all new video games. Our escape rooms are amazing,” said Traci Hoey, Director of Marketing (via KTUL News).

“I’m so excited for people to get to try those out. Our bowling lanes are high class, luxury, boutique bowling.”

Location-based entertainment and tech trends

Elsewhere, Canada’s largest cinema chain, Cineplex, is targeting growth with a strategy to offer more premium cinema options and location-based entertainment (LBE) expansion.

As technology becomes increasingly integral in creating unique and memorable visitor experiences, Blooloop has predicted six attraction tech trends as ones to watch in 2019.
