Embed team at DEAL 2023

Team showed how the new data and report visualisation tool can boost revenue and improve the guest experience

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, exhibited at this year’s Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) show last week, where the team launched its latest solution, STATS, in the Middle East market.

The firm first revealed STATS at IAAPA Expo 2022 in Orlando. Powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), STATS is a new data and report visualisation tool created to help FECs transform guest experiences, improve operational efficiency, and boost revenue using data.

“It was thrilling to see how huge the potential is for STATS here in the region, judging by the warm reception from showgoers,” says Saeed Abdillahi, Embed’s EMEA sales manager.

Showcasing cloud-based solution

Renee Welsh, CEO, adds:

“There was much eagerness to learn about the product, and with the help of the brilliant representative from AWS, we were able to showcase how cloud-based solutions like STATS can help move an FEC forward to digitalisation and automation, eliminating manual and counterproductive data work operators struggle with.”

Operators of all business sizes may manage their operations more effectively, increase workforce levels and scheduling, cut down on manpower waste, and estimate revenue based on historical data with STATS’ comprehensive, dynamic visualised data reporting. This cloud-based solution provides accessibility, security, and low latency and was built using AWS’s worldwide cloud infrastructure.

Alongside this new innovation, attendees at DEAL also had the opportunity to discover other solutions at the Embed booth. For example, the team was also showcasing the Mobile Wallet, KIOSK+, TOOLKIT software suite, and smartTOUCH card readers.

Also on show were eShop, an online shopping portal where Embed customers can conveniently purchase hardware, parts, and accessories, and Staff Merchandise, a series of customisable wristbands, key fobs, and lanyards to match an FEC’s theme.

The team will also be exhibiting at Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas from 27 – 30 March and Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Expo in Riyadh from 28 to 30 May.

Embed recently marked this year’s International Women’s Day by launching its new #womeninaction campaign and highlighting its Women in Action podcast series.
