Visitors to next week’s IAAPA Attractions Show in Orlando will have the chance to try out ParadropVR on the Simworx booth #3069.

The paragliding experience combines the latest in VR technology with physical moves and special effects to create a truly immersive experience.
ParadropVR was developed by UK-based Frontgrid and produced by dynamic simulation attractions specialist, Simworx. The ride is currently wowing visitors at Merlin Entertainment’s new Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham’s NEC. Elsewhere in the UK, the attraction is adding a new dimension to the iFLY offering in Basingstoke.
A limited number of VIP tickets are up for grabs ahead of the IAAPA Expo for anyone eager to give it a try. Recipients will get priority access to the attraction during show hours. Contact Claire Hughes, Head of Communications at cdh@frontgrid.co.uk.
“ParadropVR offers a premium immersive VR experience unlike anything else in the market,” commented Frontgrid CEO, Matt Wells.
“Users control their own flight over mountainous terrain, controlling all aspects of the physical and virtual gameplay – we can’t wait to give people the opportunity to try it for themselves at IAAPA 2018.”
The ride can be themed to suit any brand, IP or venue
Wells continues: “The modular design and versatility of the product allows operators the opportunity to theme the ride and VR content to suit a multitude of brands, IPs and location based entertainment sites. We’re expecting the show to be very busy, so are asking anyone who wants to try ParadropVR to get in touch now to book their VIP test flight.
“It’s been a full-on few weeks launching our world-first VR flying attraction at The Bear Grylls Adventure and iFLY, as well as signing new deals with several high profile leisure operators around the world. We’re looking forward to discussing these and other developments with old and new friends at IAAPA next week.”
