TickX, a powerful booking and marketing optimisation solution which helps attractions and producers sell more tickets directly, has announced that it is working with a number of spooky attractions this year, including haunted houses. Its clients include Thirteenth Floor, Fearhouse Columbus Haunted House and TerrorVision in North America. The firm is also helping Phantom Peak and Saw Escape Experience reach new audiences for their Halloween events in the UK.

Partners have benefited from TickX’s assistance with a variety of features, such as terrifyingly themed branding throughout the customer experience, support for distinct After Dark and Halloween performances, providing cross-sell to their add-ons and supplementary events and powering huge on-sales.

Providing optimised customer journeys

Nick Francis, owner of Fear Columbus Haunted House & SkySprout Digital Marketing, says:

“When it comes to selling tickets to some of the biggest Halloween experiences, TickX has been a gamechanger in terms of both providing highly optimized and branded customer journeys, but also giving me the tools I need for running the marketing efficiently. The toolkit’s got everything at the click of a button to create streamlined digital campaigns including deep integrations with all the major platforms, CRM support and analytics.

“The team have been hugely supportive every step of the way bringing to life all the functionality we have always wanted that no other ticketing platform has been able to provide on its own. No matter what ticketing platform you are using, TickX integrates perfectly.”

Dalton Dale, producer, TerrorVision, adds:

“TickX has been an amazing partner for my production, ‘TerrorVision’, NYC’s largest Haunted House! Their incredible product took our ticket flow and elevated it to the highest degree. Our customers are now presented with a sleek and dynamic purchase flow that’s totally customisable, completely themed to our event and wows with a world-class first impression.

“I can’t speak highly enough of their support and development team who answer calls and emails around the clock to ensure our purchase flow remains fully optimized for the best performance. In this digital world, your web presence and ticket flow are the first interaction that customers have with your brand. In an immersive experience this is critical to setting the tone, and audience expectations.

“With the TickX tools, I have never felt so empowered to deliver the highest quality experience from the first click to the final scream. TickX has earned a loyal customer for life!”

Beth Aspinall, director of Strategy at TickX, says: “We love September and October as it’s such an exciting time for our partners in the Haunted House and Spooky industries. It’s fast-paced and incredible to see so many fantastic attractions go live with such huge take-up from customers – this truly is a growing sector. We’re so proud to be supporting our partners with our custom-branded booking layers and marketing tools.”
