Cedar Fair is hiring 35,000 seasonal employees this year, with the biggest recruitment event in the company’s history taking place from 18 February to 24 February.
The company expects to fill up to 80 percent of these roles, 28,000 jobs, during the week-long hiring event at its theme parks in the US and Canada.
Cedar Fair is looking for ride operators, food and beverage staff, lifeguards and aquatics employees, security workers and more.

Cedar Fair is launching several new attractions and experiences at its parks this year. These include new themed areas at Carowinds in North Carolina and Cedar Point in Ohio, as well as major upgrades at Knott’s Berry Farm in California.
Cedar Fair’s biggest hiring event to date
One of the largest regional resort companies in the world, Cedar Fair owns and operates 13 properties.
Cedar Fair’s parks are located in Ohio, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan, Texas and Toronto, Ontario.
In November, Cedar Fair announced record revenue of $843 million for the third quarter of 2022, and record performance through 30 October.
Cedar Fair president and CEO Richard Zimmerman said the group is “poised to deliver the best year in Cedar Fair’s history, driven by solid demand trends and strong levels of guest spending”.
