Disney World has set an opening date for its new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar, the Beak and Barrel, and revealed its menu.
Located in Magic Kingdom‘s Adventureland across from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, the Beak and Barrel opens to guests on 29 August.
Billed as a lively pirate pub, the venue serves tropical non-alcoholic beverages such as the Treasure Trove and the Cursed Treasure.
The Treasure Trove is a mix of ube, lemon and coconut, while the Cursed Treasure combines coconut milk and cookie crumbs, and is topped with vanilla foam and a gold coin cookie.
Alcoholic drinks at the Beak and Barrel include the Salty Seas mARRRgarita, made with ube, lime, tequila and Cointreau.
The Siren’s Whisper combines white rum with citrus and spice, and is topped with a siren’s tear, while Barrels Ablaze includes Jack Daniel’s bourbon, honey and spice.

The Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale is a rum-based drink topped with prosecco, and Port of Call is made with gin, port, lemon juice and spiced cranberry.
The Lit Fuse is a combination of mezcal, banana, coconut and smoked chilli bitters, and the Plunderer’s Punch contains spiced rum, blackberry, vanilla and a hint of citrus. This comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug.
As for light bites at the new tavern, the Kraken’s Catch is a cold salad served with octopus tentacles, while Island Provisions offers savoury dips with plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread.
The Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes are stuffed with melted cheese, lime sour cream and chilli peppers topped with cotija cheese, and either roasted corn and poblano peppers or chipotle-braised chicken.
In more news from Magic Kingdom, the park is currently undergoing a major expansion, which includes a new villains land and a new Cars-themed area.
