Gateway Ticketing System will hold Galaxy UGM in Las Vegas

News
Galaxy UGM 2021

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced that it will be holding its Galaxy User Group Meeting (UGM) in person this year. The event will take place in Las Vegas, from 3 – 7 October 2021.

“We surveyed our customer base, and the results were clear,” says Peter Wolf, Director of Sales and Marketing at Gateway Ticketing Systems. “They wanted UGM, and they wanted it to be in-person. So we’re looking forward to bringing the community back together.”

In person events resume

The company planned to hold its UGM in Las Vegas in 2020 but this was postponed as a result of the global pandemic. Instead, it hosted a month-long series of virtual learning and social events, under the banner of Galaxy Discovery Month.

This year, as it takes place in person once more, the Galaxy UGM will run for four full days and attendees will benefit from presentations, real-life case studies and breakout sessions, all exploring Gateway’s Galaxy Ticketing and Guest Experience solution. As a result, they will gain actionable takeaways that they can put in place at their attractions. These will help to improve their use of the software, enhance efficiency and profitability, and make the guest experience better than ever.

The event will also be a chance to connect with peers across the industry, kicked off at the end of day one by a Roaring 20’s Party at the Mob Museum, the meeting’s hosts.

“Las Vegas is a hotbed of entertainment – an attraction in and of itself – and a city specifically designed to deliver a flawless guest experience,” says Wolf. “For our first year back after the pandemic, I couldn’t think of a better host city.”

Supporting Galaxy users

“We spent the better part of a year-and-a-half supporting our Galaxy users virtually,” says Michael Andre, President and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems. “We built new features into Galaxy to help support Covid and post-Covid operations. We developed an award-winning webinar series called Webinar Wednesdays, and a support series for customers called #TuesdayTalks – which is still running.

“We helped our customers wherever we could. But it’s no substitute for being there in person. We’re looking forward to getting back on the road and reconnecting with the people that make our family so great.”

The event will adhere to the latest health and safety regulations. Galaxy User Group Meeting is made possible, in part, by Chase Paymentech, Platinum sponsor; and Digonex, Gold sponsor; as well as several silver and bronze sponsors. For more information about the event, please click here.

Earlier this week, Gateway announced the promotion of Tom Chiarella to the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Product. This reinforces the leadership’s confidence in his vision for the future of the company and its Galaxy Ticketing and Guest Experience solution.
