Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced the promotion of Tom Chiarella to the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Product. This reinforces the leadership’s confidence in his vision for the future of the company and its Galaxy Ticketing and Guest Experience solution.
This follows the recent news that Chiarella was named in The Lehigh Valley Business Journal’s Forty under 40 list this year.
A successful leader
Chiarella first began working for Gateway in 2014, initially as a Program Manager and then moving into the role of Team Lead of Software Development in 2016. The following year, he was promoted to Sr. Manager, Product Development. In this role, he strategically grew the Product Development team and also worked to improve Galaxy’s maintenance and release cycle.
Also during this time, Chiarella made use of his customer-facing experience to help improve communication standards and response times of the customer service team, in order to better serve Galaxy users. As a result of his hard work and dedication, he was promoted again in 2019, taking on the role of Director of Product and taking a place on the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Gateway Ticketing Systems recently produced a COVID Rebound Services Menu to help operators anticipate and prepare for rising ticket sales. Earlier this year, the company also announced the release of the latest version of its Galaxy Ticketing & Guest Experience solution, which delivers the features that attractions need as they recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
