Scenario, the international show contractor, has announced the appointment of Dan Moalli as Vice President of USA operations.

Scenario is pleased to announce the new appointment. Dan Moalli brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role as Vice President of USA operations. He is an industry veteran, with a proven track record and has several successful projects under his belt, in the fields of themed entertainment, immersive environments, museums and public spaces.

Scenario President Mal Batten said “We welcome Dan’s extensive experience in the entertainment industry.  We see strong opportunities to consolidate and grow the business in the coming years. Dan will be an integral part of this growth story.”

A close team

Moalli will be conducting his new role from the company’s Orlando office, where he will be able to work closely with Scenario’s operations leads, Natasha Wells and Colin Lonergan.

“Dan will complement the vision and leadership of our president, Mal Batten,” said a spokesperson for the company.

Scenario delivers comprehensive contracting and construction management services for attractions, themed lands and theme parks. The company is experienced in Rockwork, Show Set, SAE and Animated IP Figures for Full Attraction Show Contracting.

A growing company

Scenario’s portfolio includes over a dozen large-scale themed entertainment projects for top tier customers. It employs over 300 staff in technical design, project management and production roles. The company is a division of Cockram, a full-service international Specialist Construction Company operating since 1861 with over 750 staff and more than $1B projects under management. Cockram is majority-owned by Kajima Corporation, a 175-year-old international diversified GC with over $17B annual sales.

Last year, Scenario crossed a milestone in its development when it celebrated the completed fabrication of over 400,000 square feet of show set elements in less than 18 months.

“In our growth, we have laid the foundation for an increasing level of support and service to our customers with large US and international facilities,” said a company spokesperson. “Our focus is on professional, well-managed services to our customers to deliver predictable, high-quality projects in all regions and markets.”
